Tour de France is a multiple stage bicycle race that takes place every year, mainly in France and this year is coming the beautiful Yorkshire region, with a kick off in Leeds on the 5th July.
Leeds is expected to receive visitors from all over the world as well as journalists from different countries and all over Europe, with a live transmission on several countries. Vicenzo Nibali – Vicenzo Nibali is another great contender for the race and has previously won the Giro d’Italia in 2013.
Mark Cavendish – A British cyclist and one of the most prolific sprinters in the pro peloton with more than 100 wins under his belt.
Marcel Kittel – Marcel Kittel gained spotlight when he won four stages of the the 2013 Tour de France. He has also won stages in the Vuelta.
Alejandro Valverde- Alejandro Valverde is another strong contender for this years Tour de France race with a notable improvement in his career and performance so far.
Tejay van Garderen – Anotther tough competitor and a great contender for the Tour De France podium spot in France.
Bradley Wiggins – British born and the first British to win the Tour de France after a notable performace at the Olimypics.
The Tour de France is expected to start in Leeds on Saturday, 5th July and expected to finish on Sunday, 27th in the French capital.
